how do you get into silorn?

i get to this ruin and i go to open the door and it says that it is held shut by a powerful force. do i need to speak to someone?

I check to night. but you might be able to gain access Via blood Crust Caven or Howling cave. I have to read through all my quest to see if pops up there too as I have complete the game now and can't remember if it did.

It can only be opened if you do the Mages Quest given to you by Arch Mage Traven to retrive a Black Soul Gem.

You lead 3 Battle Mages into battle its a good quest but be careful you dont hit one of your allies or you will be in a world of $hit. Its best to peel off and attack the Necromancers who attack from a distance and let the battlemages sort out the Necromancers attacking up close. sometimes the battlemages will even fight eachother which is quite funny. You can stop them fighting eachother by getting between them and yielding.
