How many of u have had a messed up 360?

on forums like g4, teamxbox and even this one, people are saying there on there second or third 360. so who actually has had a problem, and when did you buy it thanks.

I bought mine on Dec 2nd, the release in Europe. And I'm now on my 2nd console.

I bought mine on launch day, I'm currently on my third the last two die when I got the march update, so far my current 360 has not given me any problems knock on wood........

I got my first one in May. The next day it broke. Then I got a new one the next day, took it home, plugged it on only to hear a loud bang and see smoke come from the PSU. So now I'm on my 3rd and it's ok, except for when it occasionally reads a game as a DVD movie. Luckily Costco replaces them pretty much no questions asked.

My second just messed up on me a couple nights ago, I went to walmart last night and got another one and its the premium. Im going to send my broken back to MS and sell it on eBay with all the accessories once i get it back. The new one is working great***knock on wood*** but who knows how long that will last lol.

So do you just return them to customer service and they'll just give you a new one? What about the harddrive because I got mine from there too and I'm pretty sure my 90day warranty is over with MS.

Other than that mine is still fine. I got mine in the beginning of March.
