Diamond/Blue highlight vision

some how the stuff got turned off i want to turn it back on but i dont know how you the the enemy allie diamonds and when you put your aim on a friendly a blue highlight comes up and whenever you point them where to go the circles show. how do i turn this back on?

I know on single player, if you hold the change vision button, X, you can choose to turn off the diamonds. Now if your talking about Xbox Live, cant help you. Never seen an option on Xbox Live.
