Same old game selection getting annoying...

Anyone else getting annoyed with no new "worthy" games coming out anytime soon? I mean this is basically a beeyatch thread but WTH!! It seems like all the new games on the horizon are slated for 2007...that'a a MINIMUM of 6 MONTHS!!! Of course then theres the games for "Spring" or "Summer" 2007...that's a freakin' YEAR AWAY!!

How about Prey which releases in July? That looks to be a fresh FPS and a good one at that. Chromehounds look scool and isnt quite the original idea but it looks solid. Dont forget Dead Rising thats fun and original for sure.

All these games release this summer so I dont know what you consider a worthy game to be. Halo 3, GoW, Mass Affect, and Bio-Shock look awesome but I can wait in the meantime.

what really bugs the hell out of me is all these new games that are going to come out look so good and for a lot of them are coming out next year i hope that gears of war will come out in the next couple months.All i have to do is play old games that iam starting to get board of and post on this form.i really hope gears of war is going to be good enough to hold me off till halo 3

come on fellas...you have both NCAA and Madden coming out in the next two months...those are great games...granted not FPS but guranteed great games....splinter cell in two months....the godfather in 3 ...and scarface in...i three...i mean thats not a lot but its something then you are looking at brother i arms and cod3 coming out in november....not that far away...

This is exactly why I love games with online multiplayer. Let's say, you play a few games, you like one more than the other, so you drop the other multiplayers just to go pro with one of them, like GRAW. You play, you play, you play, and then you become TEH PWEROR. So that game will keep you busy until the other good games come, well, atleast it's that way for me.

Yes, games are not coming out for a long time. Remember though that the console is very new, games haven't been in development for that long, give it time. Just think, when the original xbox launched, was there a great selection of games available (apart from Halo)?

I do agree that the picking is kinda slim right now, but that is usually how it always is this time of year. But this fall is not too far off, and then we will have plenty to hold us over until Halo 3 next year.

yeah there arent that many games coming out and im dying for some real good ones to look forward too (that arent like 6 months away) but there are a couple of games like GOW and splinter cell so if they come out soon then im good cant wait to get prey!

Im really looking forward to Over G, its supposed to be out at the end of this month. The screenshots and vids look great. I think the graphics and gameplay are definately going to be next-gen or closer than what we have so far.

I agree with ENIMA, it is like this every year has no one paid attention? Then when Oct and Nov comes you don't have enough money to buy ever game you want cause there are too many games to choose from. They wait for the HOLIDAYS every year to release the goods. It's all about making money.

Tell you what, two games that i think are going to be awesome are Rainbow Six: Vegas, and of course Call of Duty 3. If only i can save enough spare cash before the holiday season to actually get them both!
