Assassin's Creed Confirmed for Xbox 360! Ouch!!

Toujours à l'occasion de l'IDEF 2006, Ubisoft a confirmé qu'Assassin’s Creed était actuellement en développement sur Xbox 360 et PC, en plus d’une version PlayStation 3 déjà annoncée depuis de nombreux mois. Les possesseurs de la console de Microsoft pourront donc eux aussi donner vie à un certain Altair, en pleine troisième Croisade. Plus d'informations prochainement, surtout concernant une éventuelle exclusivité temporaire pour la future machine de Sony.

It was confirmed in a Digital Entertainment Conference In Cannes (France)

That's awesome when I first read about it in game informer I was stoked but then I looked closer and it said it was only gonna be on PS3, so i'm glad it is going to be on 360 too.

Good news, although I am not too terribly surprised. At E3 the big rumor was that the demo was running on the 360 despite it's supposed PS3-only status.

It's a great day for Xbox 360 owner's. First Devil May Cry now Assassin's Creed. Hopefully UT2007 and Metal Gear Solid will follow. If you ask me Sony fans dont have much reason to get a PS3 unless they want a cheap, key word: CHEAP, bluray player. Their losing exclusive games by the minute.

It isn't confirmed confirmed, but it seems highly likely. Especially if Dead Rising and Lost Planet sell well for capcom

Assassin isn't confirmed but i'm really sure it would be on the xbox 360. It sounds like Ubisoft is under NDA about assassin creed and right now sony has exclusive rights to talk about the game. When you ask Ubisoft all they say is that this game has only been announced for ps3 and all other systems are unconfirmed meaning that sony paid Ubisoft to only announce the ps3 version for a given period of time. If the game was indeed exclusive then they would say it only coming for the ps3. Like when Epic games was asked if Gears of War was coming to the ps3, they said point blank No. It is only coming for the xbox 360 period. Ubisoft is hovering saying the other consoles are unconfirmed, samething I think is happening with Devil May Cry. Don't worry we will get Assassin sooner or later. Atleast when xbox 360 gets an exclusive it stays that way.
