when you return your 360, do they keep whats on the hard drive such as game saves? I'm asking this because my 360 is freezing on me alot and if i have to return it i want to keep my games saves.
You only send the console back, you keep your HDD.

Got a question guys. Its in the same general area I guess. My 360 is one of the loud one's. My neighbor has one and its quiet. I notice he's got the samsung cd drive, I have the Hitachi (the cheap one). Would you take yours back if your still under the return policy to try and get one with the samsung cd drive which is a lot quieter or would you leave it alone. Its just the loudness is annoying and his is sooo quiet. Thanks in advance

I dont think they would accept that, its not a defect its how the machine works. Also, when you send in the 360 your supposed to send it w/o the faceplate and sometimes they send you a new one back!

I wouldn't be telling them that's the issue. I'd be telling them it has a bad graphics card...which is very common in the systems. Two of my friends got a replacement because of that. You have to know how to work the system
:-)

I'm a little bit confused why you would be told to return the console without the faceplate unless of course it's one you bought, then you would pop back on the original faceplate before returning.

I Was wondering why too, but i think it only applies in Canada because here they aren't allowed to send out refurbished consoles, they send out new ones only. So they just send the whole thing untouched, and send the refurbished ones to the us. Maybe its cheaper or less time consuming to simply make faceplates closer to the US shipping centers?

Oh well that's just great. We get sent the refurbished P.O.S's while the rest of the world gets new consoles. I have to send mine out this week, and this is just thrilling news. I'm moving to Canada.

when i sent mine in they told me to take the faceplate off so it doesnt get damaged and leave the Hard Drive becouse the Hard Drive might be the problem..
