Ok, from the cover on gamespot.com I was like "wow, this looks awsome..." but little did I know how *** this really seems to be:secruity: . Anybody interested in this game? Maybe I'm being critical but the video (http://www.gamespot.com/pages/video_player/popup.php?sid=6153407&pid=928326) I saw was pretty retarded. Feedback people.

Cant wait to buy Dead Rising. If by "looks ***" you mean graphics look substandard i half agree they arent the best Ive seen but because of the sheer volume of characters on screen at any one time the detail is never gonna be Fight Night Round 3 quality. Gameplay is more important to me than asthetics and Dead Rising is gonna be a scream (pardon the pun).

lol! on this months OXM demo disc they had 60 ways to kill a Zombie! I love the hedge clippers! just chop the zombie right in half! and oh yeah there is shot guns and stuff! I wanna know who the hott chick with the Sniper rifle is though!

Looks to be a State of Emergency clone, only with zombies. Rental at best. Capcom said the game's story is 7 real hours long, so that right there is a turnoff. Dont cite me on that, I read it in an OXM a couple months ago. I can dig it up if you guys want.

71/2hrs because this game requires multiple play throughs to get it all/have fun with. i cant see a game as simple as this requiring anymore than that. its not oblivion. its dumb fun, in a very appealing way!

I'm with you, rental at best. I'll rent it and see how it goes, but from what I see it doesn't strike my interest to just run around and kill zombies with diffrent things you pick up. Little....childish type game to me:stupid:

Then again, is there some kind of storyline that I'm not really knowing about?

Story? Kinda... You're trapped in a mall as a photographer covering this scoop. you want to get the exclusive on the story of a lifetime, and to do so you need to take pictures, survive, and unravel the mystery by saving certain people, performing certain tasks. for all these things you need to be there at the right time and the right place or youll miss them and never know. What i heard from many sources is that the game takes place in 72 real time hours, and that plays a very important role in the game, where if you arent playing you're missing important stuff. all hearsay of course, but thats what i heard and thats what im sayin!

Story? Its Dawn of the Dead For god sakes, it was a major motion picture.. twice i belive. this Game looks awesome!
