HD Plasma T.V. Shopping

Im looking to buy a HD Plasma but dont know what to get i have a budget of £1700 any advice?

if you plan to play games on your new tv, id say think again because playing games can cause dead pixles on the plasmas. if id were you id get a nice lcd instead. i might be wronge but idk, um with a price range of 1700 euro you can get something pritty good, what size tv are you looking for?

not euro, pounds which is roughly $3049 dorra and i want at least 42" but no more than 50" I really like some of the samsung sets and the latest ones have anti screen burn and 2 hdmi sockets which is what i want. but if you know of any others im open minded.

they dont cause dead pixles they cause burn in, lcds can get dead pixles beofre u even turn them on. i wouldnt worry about burn in coz alot of tvs have ways to prevent this
