Does anyone know if ubisoft plan to release 'America's Army' on xbox360 ?

I highly doubt this one. The game is already about five years old if you include the original computer version developed by the Army. Ubisoft produced it for the current-gen systems, but even then it was well beyond it's prime.

It's a great game, don't get me wrong, but it would be hard for a game like America's Army to stand in the face of the upcoming military shooters like Ghost Recon. AA on the computer always did so well and gained a good bit of popularity because it was free, a recruitment tool for the Army.

Say what you will about the U.S. Army and their recruiting methods, but they did provide a free game. And no, the game doesn't track your progress for possibly drafting players (someone actually asked me about it).

Boy did I love AA. I used to play the PC game religiously. It was such a tough tense game. Your aim had to be dead on.

But yeah I agree with Kaptain Kilt, this game probably wont be brought to consoles ever again. Perhaps an updated version for the PC, perhaps. But otherwise no AA for 360. I am willing to bet on it.

You never know, it was a great game in its day so the Army could poosibly do something else to get the younger generation interested in the armed forces. They have plenty of money to throw around so it could happen.

they still update the computer game every once in a while! who knows! most realistic game I have ever played!
