I just got a logitech Z-5500 and I was wondering if I needed to get better speaker cables to get the most out of it?

Hmmm, I was pondering over the same thing, as the speaker wire with the Z-5500 (also the Z-680) is really thin. I have run both (systems and speaker thicknesses) and can tell you that there is little difference between the two. The reason I changed is because the standard stuff just wasn't long enough, and thought if I was increasing the length, i'd better increase the diameter of the wire (as resistance is directly proportianal to thickness).
It's up to you, it does get better but don't go overboard with the new wire as the difference is minimal.

Thanks I probably won't get new cords then since it doesn't get much better.
