PDZ's graphics are off/on impressive. They really do range between levels (see the tropical level near the end of game and you will see how good this game can look). You definately need HD for it to look its best no matter what anyone else tells you. IT DOES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. If you have VGA cables and are plugging into an LCD monitor, then you have a good picture already.
Congrats on getting the 360 man. I'm still saving up for mine can't wait till payday

PDZ is one of those games that make abig difference if you play it on High Def. If you are going on live you should get the harddrive for the game updates, DLC and also demos/ arcade games

Yup ! You should get the hard drive if you want to use your 360 to its full potential...No doubt about it...
PDZ is a good start as a first game...It can be fun in multiplayer. But later on, you might want to check out COD2 and GRAW ...These are great AND beautiful games...

Buy a notebook usb drive and plug it in the rear (Instead of the 360 drive), that way you will have room for EVERYTHING. You can find them a lot cheaper than the 360 HD with way more storage. Besides the interface for a storage device is much easier to navigate than the interface for the 360 hard drive IMO.
