God only knows when this game is gonna be completed. But if it has the same engine as Resident Evil 4 then I'll be more than impressed.

Sources indicate that Chris Redfield will be the main character, although he is also rumoured to star alongside Leon S. Kennedy in the new Nintendo Wii game as well.

Hopefully they will bring back the T-Virus and Raccoon City story. The new Las Plagas epidemic is a bit too hard to take in.

I've got a funny feeling that the main character is Bruce McGivern though, since the guy in the promo footage doesn't really look like Chris that much.

Leon is my favorite Resident Evil character I hope we get to play as him again.
I like the Las Plagas the T-Virus thing is getting kinda old, maybe there will be a new hybrid between Las Plagas and the T-Virus, I think that is what it will be because that is what Wesker was wanting to do to it in re4.

It would be cool to see something along the original story, I would be happy if the T-Virus and Raccoon City was brought back in some form. I would be surprised if that did happen though, Im sure with whatever story line they come up with will be fine and exciting.

Seeing how the enemies were zombies in the trailer and they ran really fast they probably are going to merge the T virus and Las plagas together.I hope that the game will have the same engine as Re4 my favorite Resident evil game.

I love the Resident Evil series...problem is, that the last one i played was RE2! Never played Nemisis, RE: Code Veronica, RE: Zero, or RE4. Will i really be left in the dark if i pick up RE5?

You have to get Re4, that game is a must for anyone who likes the resident evil series.

Totally agree...If RE5 is half as good as RE4, it will still be worth the wait.

Can't say because nobody knows the plot of RE5 (yet).

I was just doing a google search and the Amazon UK website has the release date as February 24th.

I hope that turns out to be true, although Amazon have made mistakes in the past. I trust they know their information, though.
