Ok, I joined GameFly on July 31, and 2 games were sent out. Still haven't gotten them, and if I don't today it will be a solid week. I know what I will need to do and all that other stuff, my question is this :
Anyone in the state of Illinois or further from California with an account, how long does it take you to get the games!? This could really stink if the first shipment get lost, or I have to wait this long every time! I WILL give them another chance, but I want an average transport time. the USPS time says 3 days, and they have been wrong once before for a shipment and only by 2 days.
Please post just the state and time in days from when they ship a game and if you want to help me keep track for a generalisation, use the poll! (Poll is a PUBLIC poll, so people know what you select.)
I'm in NY and get mine in 3-5 days. I voted 2-4 days. I use to have to wait a week or so, but I think after all my complaints (some 100 or so), they finally got sick of me harassing them on the phone about it.

well, I sent complaints in on both games now. Either I get the games within 4 days, AND the next one or two come in after 4 days from shipping, or I cancel. I'm paying for a service, and this could be more like a bothersome. I would be paying for using the rental half the time!

Well, being in the state where they are located allows next day shipping for free.
On a side note, in your signature Bruce needs to be capitalized.
Also, BLaz, how did you call them? There is no phone number listed on there site. Only a E-Mail address.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! MasterAchilles, (according to his profile) lives in Florida and gets the games sooner then I do!

I got it from a friend who lives in CA. The phone number was listed in his phone book. I dont know it off-hand.

Ah, well. I guess if I really wanted to I could look it up, but I'm not about to pay for a long distance call, for something that shouldn't be happening. They want to wait me out, fine, but it will be a short wait because I know how the game is played and I just avoid it when I can. I reported the games already, and I got a cruddy automated response. Been there, done that. From what I have experienced, they will most likely loose a customer. Sure, I can try to work things out, but I shouldn't have to bother. And in all reality, they will loose 2 customers, because my friend was thinking about joining them, and decided to let me be the tester. If they simply had a way to E-Mail them directly, so I could inform them of the situation... oh well, there loss.
EDIT :
Wohoo! Found a way to send a general E-Mail. So, here goes nothing. I don't want to cancel the account, but I'm certainly not going to pay for something I am not receiving!

Update : I received the first game they re-shipped after 3 days. So it appears that it was all a shipping problem. Good think I decided to give them a second chance. Still, it's not a good way to start out loosing both games in the mail.
