Can still connect through xbox live without internet? I have a dsl modem, and i want to know if i can use that to connect to xbox box live without internet service.

No,you need to be signed up with an ISP

No, that DSL Modem is useless unless you are signed up with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and have the modem connected to your phone line.
