Hello, I am going to be buying an Xbox 360, but have some questions before I go about it.

1) I am playing on a standard television. I will upgrade once HDTV's come into my price range, but for the time being, SDTV is where I will have to play. What will this mean graphics wise? Will they still be great, or am I going to be let down?

2) I need advice on a good first game. Before you say it, no, I don't want Oblivion. I was thinking GRAW or Dead Rising, but can't choose between the two.

Thanks for any comments.

Well:

1) You dont need a HDTV using a SDTV is fine,i used one when i got my 360,the graphics are alot better on HD but since your getting one in future just look forward to u get it, and enjoy ur 360 on ur SDTV games are still great and look good on SDTV so youll enjoy it as much as most people.

2) I would say get SaintsRow or TestDrive there out over next 2 weeks.
If you dont want to wait then COD2 or maybe GRAW would be good buys.

As shane said an SDTV is just fine. Though it wouldent hurt to invest in an HDTV. As for GRAW or Dead Rising... For me it would be GRAW for the Live multiplayer. That is if you plan on getting Xbox Live.

I am planning on using my free month, and then decide after that how long I want Xbox Live. Dead Rising looks more fun, but no multiplayer is kind of meh.

As for TV's, I am going to be holding off most definately. Prices will only get lower and lower, and hopefully lag will be a thing of the past soon.
