My Impression of the game. :smile:
Now let me first say it looks and feels a lot like GTA Liberty City. Only more massive and better and way more polished and less buggy than any GTA game. That what I always disliked about GTA, I love the game but its was buggy. Its my opinion so let not argue and dwell on about that part. I don't care this is much better.
The game plays better than any free roaming city game I have played. Its not at all clunky. The city looks really neat. My favorite time is a night. When going for a roam about. the city. The city looks stunning when you see the street lights and buildings lights on, not only that but you can see reflections of buildings on the cars body work. The NPC's mutter away to themselves too, they always have something to say and adds life to the city.
Its good Idea when you first start the game to unlock all the ? marks on the map. just a general drive around, not not down every street mind, will show you what each ? mark is. Once you have done that you use the transit systems. Sometimes you have to wait for a few secs but once you get on the train, it instantly transports you across the city to the closes transit station in the area that you selected.
Its silly smooth when you on foot and shooting Works. Although he feels a bit boxy sometimes. a peep around the corner and shoot would be nice. Also some indication that your being shot would help. you only get the bleeping sound as you about to die which is a little late sometimes. Each cars handle slightly different, but only slightly. The lots of various even on the same car. The Motorway has the biggest rigs.
The map is the best map ever in a game. You can never get lost even if missed the turns, you can always get back on track. you can set the marker to any where on the map.
The police are smarter in the cars and will often used brute tactics which is just bash bash and hope you crash and even sometimes the pit. The are a little dumb on foot however.
They are tons of things to do. more than GTA. All kinds of things from being a hitman to a car thief. Whats nice when you a car thief or hit man. you have picture. Anyone collecting cars remembers the frustrations of trying to find car and not having a clue what it look like. Thats very helpfully.
So thats just my first impression be it good or bad. Its a great game and holds its own. Whats great about this game is, that not only is inspired by GTA, but it does it better than anyone who's try to do a GTA style game before, You can play online but you know that anyways. So eat you heart out rockstar.
Anyways who cares about being original I don't. When its better in everyway and you are having so much fun and it plays oh so sweet. :dancing2:
