how can making your 360 vertical the best ventalation wen the bottom vent practically touches the floor?

In my case I experienced the opposite... when I put my 360 in vertical mode the fans are louder (spinning faster) and the dvd drive is making more noise...

But if you put your hand against that vent that you are talking about when the console is laying down and running you will notice that only cold air is coming out (at least on mine its like that) and one more thing is that warm air move upwards so that vent dont do much in a vertical position...

Some of the Ram is on the Underside (if Laying Horizontal) of the motherboard. It is believed that if you use it stationary that the Ram on the bottom side receives better airflow. I use mine exclusively Horizontal and a modified Fan stand as I have stated in one your many many many many other posts. :) (Sarcasm)

I said Horizontal but I meant vertical with my fan stand...sorry for the confusion.

watt did u do to mod it im thinking of puttin in a dust filter in the fan stand
