Xbox Live Vision Camera

I was reading about this, and it looks pretty cool, about the way u can put your face in the game, and also, i read that u can use it as a wb cam for your Computer. if anyone has it or knows about it, i was wondering if it is compatible with a Mac computer. If im right about what im thinking, its just a video camera that connects through a USB plug. If anyone knows if its compatible please respond. And if u have one......Hw do ya like it?

I think it is pretty cool. Unfortunately I dont know about the mac compatibility, but I can say it works with my computer just like my logitech one does, so now that one is in my bedroom and my 360 cam is working on both the living room cpu and 360.

The digimask thing is kinda weak in that your head always has a different color compared to the rest of your body and it almost looks as if it isnt connected right. You look like some kind of bobble head. The good thing is that it will slightly freak yourself out when you are looking at yourself and it really looks like you. Im hoping this feature will be improved. Important note that I have only used the digimask feature in WSOP:TOC so I dont know if it will behave better in other games.

I also think it is cool for the custom gamertag feature and seeing most of your opponents in WSOP:TOC pretty cool. The bad news is that there isnt alot to do with it yet, not alot of support. Does anyone know if there is any other games that support digimask.

Let me know if you have already tried it. I have the vision camera it is pretty sweet, haven't really used all of the options just yet. I also have a mac book pro I would be willing to test it on if you need me to.

Rainbow Six: Las Vegas uses it to put your face on your custom character. Of course their isn't a lot of support for it. It's fairly new.

Okay, in a week or so, I'm going to get Rainbow Six Vegas. When I do, I'll report back on the feature. If anyone else has tried it, provide feedback please.

I think other games in the future will have the feature of maping your face on characters, which is cool as hell.

There was talk about PDZ when the 360 launched using a camera, but Microsoft didn't want people killing real people. I think thats why 3rd party use it and MS will not. There was also talk about Gears of War using it, but that was squashed!

I have the camera and think it is cool Good that you can actually get into games now. Also if you want to video chat someone it is great, and the clarity is superb!

Yeah, it works great with RB6. It has way better options then with WSOP:TOC. You can add things to your face and you can get away with wearing a hat. You cant seem to do that with poker. Im actually wearing my Guiness hat. Here are a couple pics of what it looks like in game. I even saw where a guy put electrical tape under each eye and it looked like black eye paint. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the face mapping in Vegas, but it is very early days and i am sure it will get better!

It's just a plug and play USB device, it should work.
