COD2 VS. COD3 (Which One Should I Get???)

hey guys, i was having a hard time trying to figure out which call of duty i should get. I havent played the second or third, and i dont have online so i want the one with the best SP and graphics. COD3 looks like the best one for me because i would love to play threw the normandy campaign instead of switching to places every where else.

So in your own oppinions, which one is the better choice for SP and over all fun.

i personally think COD2 is one of the best ever ww2 fps's , but im not sure on the online community on COD2 (whether it is still big) correct me if im wrong, so i would say go through the sp on COD2 then trade in for COD3 for the multiplayer and sp on that.

Call of duty 2 is one of the best games ever. I would get it no doubt. I am a die hard call of duty fan and I never bought 3. I only rented it to beat the singleplayer for achievements.

Oh, and It is still very easy to get into a call of duty 2 match. The game still boasts 50,000 games per day!

I haven't played cod 2 but i heard that it was much better as a sp game then 3.I sure hope so because number 3 was kinda boring, didn't really dig it and have barely gotten far in the game.The online however, is kickass and i love playing it!!!

i agree COD2 had much better SP on it then COD 3, but COD3 has much better multiplayer.

And also one more thing. Judging from all the vids ive seen from both games, it seems that cod3 has rag doll and cod2 doesnt or does its just much weaker in sorts. Im a huge fan of rag doll especially in ww2 games. Does cod3 have better physics?

CoD3 has better physics but CoD2 is definently the better game. I wouldnt get either of them, i would wait for Medal of Honor:Airborne or Brother's In Arms: Hells Highway.

I see that they havent gotten much smarter over the months. Now if you call this a meaningless thread then stay away from it, all im trying to figure out is which cod has a more fun SP so im asking the guys. Now you have always thought of me of a in the closet fanboy, but i find it hard to be a fanboy when i have all the next gen consoles. now the reason im asking this question is because cod2 was never released on the PS3 so if it was the winner by majority then i would buy it. That seems to be the case now doesnt? I love all next gen consoles and dont much approve of a large group of people bashing one cause they have the other. I'm having a blast with my new ninja gaiden for the PS3 so i have no regrets. As I have always said to you Remix, Think Before You Post.

It depends since Multiplayer isn't a factor then I'd go with whatever would have more value to it.

I have both Call of Duty 2/3 and have beaten them on Vet, pretty easy I must say. However, I kinda enjoyed the Call of Duty 3 storyline more then 2's because it was more like a story. I don't really know how to put this in words, but the graphics look better for 3 and the missions were more entertaining.

Umm, it took me a lot longer to beat Call of Duty 2 on Vet then it did for Call of Duty 3, I beat call of Duty 3 on vet 2 days when I started the first mission on vet while for Call of Duty 2, I took a 3 month break because I didnt feel like playing D-Day because I was scared, even though it was pretty easy when I did play it.

But with Call of Duty 2, you get the intense missions of the american campaign (normandy invasion), hill 400 and Africa involvement. With Call of DUty 3 you get the france perspective..yada yada yada.

Just get both, honestly.

I suggest you worry about yourself and not what happened in the past with the original poster he was dealt with when his behavior was unacceptable. As it is you are who are skating on thin ice as of present, and I will not have you go into a large number of threads and turn them into flame fests as you have been doing.
