router question

im a bit of a noob so, i was wondering if you need to pay service charges or other stuff to use a wireless router or if you can just plug it in and go. plz help, i need to know.

There are no extra charges associated with a wireless router once you've bought it. I know some ISP's will lease you a wireless router for a few bucks a month, if you'd rather not purchase. They are relatively cheap, though.

Yeah, you can get a wireless package from Comcast for example.... 15 bucks a month is a total rip if you ask me, because within 3 or 4 months you already paid them enough to buy your own router.

In the UK, a lot of Broadband companys give a free Wireless Router away if u ask them if your an existing company or u get one free if your a new customer.

Not sure what the offers are in Abu Dhabi, ring around!!
