The campaign is short but it is really fun, wayy funner than H3 campaign (IMO) im on my third time playing it, but this time I'm doing it on veteran so it's a bit more challenging...

this may not have anything to do with the thread, but i gotta brag...
i ruled last night on cod4. played some sweet ass sabotage and was top player 3 times in a row... you gotta understand, that just doesn't happen, i'm lucky to get 5 kills in a game; i capped 15 suckas in a kill streak. and no, i wasn't playing alone or with 2 people, it was a full game. anyway, just had to share that.

play it on veteran. that'll add some time to the campaign. you'll get to play several maps again and again. And again and again and again. Then, when you think you might be almost done, you'll got to do it again. because you'll die. again and again. by people you don't see. by 1 shot. again and again.

all those agains, they add a lot of time to game play. be sure to count it.

The campaign is AWESOME! Ive played it 3 times before I played multi. I didnt realize how awesome multi is though. I cant quit playing it. All the perks make it even better. I think its the best online game Ive ever played. Even better than Halo. Never thought I would say that.
For those of you who dont know, when playing online, you can actually change classes in the middle of the game. I didnt know until last night when someone was telling someone else how to do it. Press the start button and it will say change class. You will be able to change guns instead of being stuck with a sniper rifle for the whole game. I find it helpful when people are camping out on top of a building to take them out with a sniper rifle then go back to what ever weapon u were using before.

COD4 would be a lot better if they somehow fixed this issue of the host quitting or the game lobby closing.

i've been getting on pretty easy over the last couple of nights. but i have fell victim to the host leaving.
How do you know who the host is? If you do know, i guess you could go leave a bad mark on his/her rep and hit the avoid.

What they should do is make it like Halo where if the Host leaves, the games selects a new host based on connection strength and then the game can continue normally.

They're working on the patch for the Xbox 360 version of CoD 4. As far as when it will be released, your guess is as good as mine. Here's a look at what Infinity Ward has said they are adding to the game:

Additions / New Features:

* Added Kill cam to Airstrike bombs and Claymores
* Addition of Host Migration so if Host Leaves auto-chooses next best host

Tweaked the following Oldschool Mode settings based on feedback:

* Added Unlimited Sprint
* Increased Magazine Size
* Added Ragdoll Cam

How about points for taking down the enemies ****ing chopper?!?! Every time they call in a bird I am taking the son of a ***** out but the enemy kills me a good 2-3 times in the process.

I also think its lame when you kill a guy with the last stand perk and someone else caps him once and he gets the full 10 points and you get only 2 for the assist. LAME!

LOL I have the same problem...which is one of the many reasons why I hate last stand (plus the teamates that take the kill)

I hope the suggested patch does come into play. Its a great game and i still enjoy playing multiplayer

I have found something rather annoying though. With the Draganov i tend to find a nice hiding spot and shoot someone in the head and no kill then get killed by the guy i'm shooting at with the same snipe

And what's the deal with lunging across a room and stabbing you? I can never seem to multi stab people either!
