i think the game is sweet and is gonna give halo 3 a run for its money. the beta definitely had some flaws but was definitely fun. im getting the game for christmas but i will definitely rent it next week. the only concern i have is that people who play all day will have all the good equipment and dominate

Me purchasing COD4 really depends on how it compares to RB6V. If it is a lot better, I will trade in RB6V and get COD4. But if it is the same, or hardly better, I will just make it a rental.

No I'm not kidding about the burning plastic... I played KoTOR 2 for 33 hours striaght when I rented it and I shut my system off because it started smelling like burnt plastic...

Shame the fumes didnt harm you... I think this game is going to be awesome online but a 6-7 hour campaign is what i've heard which sounds seriously sucky..

I am hoping for longer campaign too, I got my copy of the game pre-ordered and being overnighted to me so I am ready. The beta was awesome so I am sure the multiplayer will make up for any flaws in the single player campaign. I just hope the 6 hr campaign is just a rumor. Guess we will all see come Tuesday.

I love the game. Perks, weapon upgrades, all of it. My only complaints are the server issues, which they'd better be on top of and working on it. The campaign is short, but hard so it makes up for it.

Great game, its just as addictive as COD2. I started the campaign and loved it, then I tried the multi and cant get away from it. IMO way better multiplayer than Halo 3, just more my type of game. Highly recommend.

So far I am diggin campaign mode but the multiplayer fun factor is still in question compared to Halo 3.

I am loving the MP on COD4 it blows the Halo3 MP out of the water, and I love the Halo 3 MP. So many options to choose from on COD4 I like the groundwar type Mp game.

i concur recon COD4 blows away halo 3 by miles i just have to get the next promotion or beat the next challenge before i call it a day. im not a fan of rpgs but i just can't stop playing i have to see what im gonna unlock next. this game is like crack for gamers. don't buy if you don't have tons of time to waste.
