Posts: 338  | I finally completed the game and was very satisfied with the campaign mode. If campaign was multiplayer this would have cut the cake big time. COD4 gets the title on campaign mode but the versus multiplayer didn't do it for me. Not saying its bad or anything and I like the many options it gives you, but Halo 3 is more action packed and fun to play despite its flaws. |

Posts: 114  | Hey there guys , first time poster but Im eager to get to know each one of you. I was never a big Halo fan. I bought Halo 2 when i got my Xbox 360 but i was never able to play it . The campaign just wasn't fun and the multiplayer was nothing extra ordinary. and I hear that Halo 3 is more of the same so very slim chance that i will like Halo 3 but the good news is that im turning 26 in 2 days (YAY) and im getting COD 4 as a gift (im buying it for me lol but hey , I can't wait to play it) So i vote COD 4 Even if "technically" i didin't play either game (Loved COD 2 and COD 3 , hated Halo 2) Nice to meet you all once again ! |

Posts: 650 | Halo 3 and COD 4 have different gameplay characteristics. Both are worth owning because of the diversity they both offer in different ways. If anyone tries to tell you that one is better than the other DO NOT LISTEN because thats like trying to say that Apples taste better than Oranges in that it's purely a matter of taste. Halo 3 boasts a strong continuation int he Halo series with superbity all around except for the Melee issues online... Cod 4 (as stated in the recent Podcast) breaks away from the WW2 theme and then incorporates the best parts of all the best shooters into a new beast of a game which is just beautifully done and very fun to play even when you're getting your dome popped by a Barret 50 Cal from 200 meters away across the map.
