Looking for Mature players for COD 4 Clan

Hey there guys ..... now before i start , i want to emphisize the mature "PLAYERS" part of my topic lol ...

I was browsing through the Forum and failed to find a topic about this so here goes.

I recently joined the PXbox360 community and i was thinking that if others are interested , we could form a Call of Duty 4 Clan and gourp together during games. Last night , i played a few hours of COD 4 and i noticed that most players weren't really "helpfull" (They were being D!cks) so i thought , what if Site members (mature enough to enjoy a good game of COD 4) would join to form a gaming community. and COD 4 seems to be perfect as it is a fun game , lots of players and has a clan feature we could use.

Now we are already 2 that would be willing to play (got 2 more friends that should be getting the game and they , like me , are not interested in playing with some 11 year old kids screaming I PWN YOU NOOB for 30 minutes).

So if you are interested , look me up, also if this could somehow get to the creators of the Site as I figure they would be the best people on here to give the OK to form a COD 4 PX360 clan so if anybody knows there contact info , please PM me.

I'd join but I am in Australia, so we'd lack like Mutha Fu***rs!
Plus the time diff will mean one of us would be up at night, and not me given my 7 month old daughter means were exhausted each and every day, and look forward to sleep!

Describe mature for me. The time in your life mature, or the way you act mature. I played a clan full of grown men who would make fun of every person they played with and talk about their moms, and so when I searched the clan, it had also said mature players only.

Mature tend to be adult age sure some adults act like idiots, but that is less prevalent then the ones under say 17/18 where it seems immaturity is wide spread IMO. Example today was in room with kids were all your mom this and that calling people noobs and burping into mics. I will stick to gaming with adults. And before you say anything in most cases age is a very good indicator of maturity for the most part.

Agreed Recon. Unfortunately, I too was once an obnoxious young buck, and so you cant blame them. The only real salvation is, as you mentioned, to try to game with adults. That is why I think this COD4 group might be a decent idea. If it means having people on your list you can count on to have some solid gaming, as opposed to a situation where you are scrambling to mute your teammates.

I'm pretty much clearing my friends list and any one thats a kid is generally gone unless they are exceptional and decent, ie not screaming noob down the wire!

Kids can also be mature but when i get someone singing ITS RAINING MEN real loud in the mic all game long ... thats what i mean by "immature" ...

I found a post on the Gamefaqs forum on COD 4 for people like me who were in the same boat so look that up if your interested (Ill get the link later lol)

You sound like a barrel of laughs, I hate playing with people who try to act mature and sophisticated but just end up sounding retarded, you are playing games over a console with people you never met, theres not that much sophisticated about that.

By the way guys , i found this group on gamefaqs who also were looking for mature players. There mostly (like me) with a wife and kids and i played a few games with them and there really fun. Again , There not all parents , some are quite young but again , no name calling or anything like that so i give them 2 thumbs up. The clan name is AARP (I honestly , have no clue what it stands for lol)
