what CoD4 weapons do you use?

Well it all goes down to personal preference. Still loving the M4 carbine , and using the MP5 setup you said earlier in this thread (or another thread) which is a beast.

Dragunov is probably my favorite weapon for HC S&D.

I'm in my 6th prestige and I think I fianlly have my classes down pat.

take off deep impact and stick on steady aim on that M16, the only time that weapon is useless is when someone legs it around a corner with a SMG and rapes you, with steady aim and if you burst fire it very quick you can just about take down anyone up close, just once there near your crossfire the steady aim will keep weapon still and you will kill them straight off, with deep impact you really need to use RD and see them before they see you if its up close combat.

I really don't understand why some people really like steady aim. The only thing it improves is accuracy when you are firing a weapon not sighted in (from the hip) correct? I almost never fire my weapon without looking through my site. The only time I do is if I'm walking through a door or something and I run face to face into an enemy. At that point the barrel of my M16 is already inches from his face and steady aim or no steady aim, the dude is getting a closed casket funeral.

Yes but if you fire down the sights your mobility is reduced (you turn slower and look slower) so in close quarters it's almost useless. It really is useful on maps like Crossfire down the back streets, especially if you're using the ACOG on it. I use Steady Aim on all my classes (minus sniper ones, of course) because it's better to kill the guy using steady aim than for him to kill you THEN for you to kill him with Martyrdom

it's really not hard to get a lot of posts fool, i spend a short time each day replying to all threads and then the rest of the time is my own, only reason i'm always online is because my laptop is on 24/7 and i always have 4 sites open in a tab at all times, on of which being this one, so eat my balls, i don't put much time in at all, wheras you must spend like 5 hours a day on cod. loser

i use the steady aim with my smg on close quarters maps, like scot said. i toy with it on my LMG too, but try not to use that gun yet.

First off, how do people like you?(Thats rhetorical and I figured you make some quirky retort because your a dick and all.) Secondly, I have 5 Days 12 hours of playtime on COD4. Its the only Game I've been playing since like Nov 10th. Thats 4 months and 10 days of time I could have played it. Thats like 130 days .1 hour a day could get me to a higher lvl then that and I admit I've played for several hours on occasions like when we had snow days or something.

Red Dot Sight
3 Frags
Stopping Power
Extreme Conditioning

It's awesome in Headquarters. The 3 frags are good to lob into the headquarters. The extreme conditioning lets me get to places just a bit quicker. Stopping power so I don't waste half a clip on one guy.

I have 2 or 3 classes I tend to stick to. On more open maps I usually use:
M4 Carbine with red dot scope
Claymores
Stopping Power
Deep Impact

For closer combat I use:
CP90 with red dot
Bandolier
Double Tap
Martyrdom

And my special class for search and destroy on overgrown and downpore:
Druganov
M4 Carbine with red dot
Claymore
Overkill
Extreme conditioning

Dragunov is good, but I have to say that one of the best snipers is easily the M40A3. Only even need stopping power for the Juggernaut kids. It's awesomely accurate too.
