My dashboard still wouldn't load up last nite. I could play RB6 properly tho without problems.

my dash was slow but did come up, and also i did manage to play cod4 which is one of the first times ive been able to at a ''peak time'' over the last couple of weeks. I'd say its getting close to being fully resolved however still not 100%

This **** still isn't fixed and I'm getting tired of it. When I clicked join game, my Xbox would freeze for about 1 minute then snap out of it and tell me that I couldn't join game. Or I would get a message saying that I need a network connection to play. Or I would actually make it into a match and wait endlessly while Live tries to create equal groups then kick everyone out. Then after about 5-10 tries, I'd finally get in a game and all of a sudden I'll start zig-zagging and have the connection icon on the screen and it would disconnect. Overall, my time in COD4 multiplayer has been more frustrating than anything else. They need to fix this **** fast.

Interesting to read this. i have been having issues with my stupid interweb connection anyway, but i thought it was fixed. but it wasn't. here i was thinking my dsl was being big dumb, and it could have been what i was trying to connect too. kind of bittersweet i guess.
i played cod4 last night for 3 hours, not a problem. but the night before i was in the same boat as the colonel there. it wouldn't load my game settings, or go to a lobby, then suddenly i would be in a game and jerking all over (and steve's mom wasn't even here)...it was pretty frustrating.

These are the exact same troubles i had last Sunday/Monday but since Tuesday i have been able to connect and play COD4 very well and Forza's been ok too, does anybody know if the xbox live team have put out a statement of any kind? ive heard all about the free arcade game but i'm not interested in that just wether or not they have admitted a problem and how long is it going to take? But as i say i'm alright jack for the moment at least.

Yes, Xbox LIVE, General Manager Marc Whitten, issued an apology which was posted on xbox.com. This was released nearly 2 weeks ago.
