CD4 99% Cool 1% bad discussion

CD4 I admit still has me addicted. The campaign is good. Wide variety of weapons. I like the attachments ex. red dot site/ grip on live. I love the mission death from above. Good idea lol AC-130 Gunship. But some things i don't like are: the fact that sniper rifles take more than one hit to kill. I had a R700, shot a guy in the chest, then leg, then arm, and he still din't die.
Sheesh in real battle u could shoot somebody one shot w/ a pistol in the chest and they'd die. Same goes with shotgun and LMG. Plus even if you shot a grenade through someone it would still kill them w/o detonation. Also, we aren't frogs we can't leap 5 feet and stab someone with a knife. It's so annoying when you're in close combat and the stab you in your "personal bubble", completely missing your body from 5 feet away and you still die.
Any other things post here. I'm just allowing expression. No smart mouths.

I agree with you as far as the realism goes. No man can run at the speeds on COD4 especially in full gear. The stabbing thing annoyes me too.

But I don't think this game is supposed to be realistic. RB6 vegas is realistic.

I rented COD4 and the worst thing I've seen in the repawning enemies. Any game that has respawning enemies in this day and age is simply lazy development.

Yea the Homing knife missile does get a little annoying. But other than that I don't have many complaints.

It makes it more intense. And I don't think Infinity Ward were wanting to make it that realistic because it would lose alot of what gives you the adrenaline rush that games like RB6 and H3 just don't give.

i agree with the sniper rifles, they are just too weak, they should be 1 shot kills like in games like graw. and also some of the perks piss me off, juggernaught? wtf?! that's just stupid, they could try and pass it off as having extra body armour or something but if that is the case it should slow you down and it should be visable, people with the juggernaught perk just look like they have steel skin im fine with the perks like 2x claymore etc, but to give them strength against bullets is stupid. might as well have a flight perk where you can fly around the level superman style and shoot people lol

only one i agree with is the sniper rifles. I simply dont snipe because if i am lucky enough to hit someone once it still doesnt kill them. By the time you get your next shot off they have run out of view. Also the knifing can be a bit of a pain too.

Other than that though the game kicks ass. I have heard they are improving sniping with a patch no idea when that is out though, until then i will just dominate with assualt and smg's

The first sniper rifle and the .50 cal are both 1 hit kills if you hit the stomach area and above which isn't too hard for a good sniper. And if all Sniper Rifles were 1 shot kills they would be way too overpowered bc its easy as hell to get one shot off. I think Infinity Ward learned from Treyarchs mistake. For example, in COD3 with a Sniper you can easily go 80-6 in a match compared to a heavy armor which would normally get like 38-18. The points is, the team with the most snipers won. (Which is gay since the whole multiplayer aspect of cod3 was based on camping, get 4 shots off, move, repeat.)

I agree with the stabbing thing, yesterday a guy shanked me from like 10 ft. away, huge lunge....only one of the few problems with this great game

took me 3 shots with a .50 cal on a few occasions, first 2 were wounds and some of those times the guys didn't even have that stupid juggernaught perk

i rarely get a 1 hit kill with the sniper, unless i get a head shot. I know with torso hits, the guy usually lives and runs off. might get that second shot with the semi rifle, but those bolt action rifles, if you don't drop him that first hit, he runs (unless you get lucky and he tries to find you without moving).
i only use the jug perk on my MG guy...doesn't seem to make to much of a difference though.
