Looking for a MMO on the 360

Hey there guys ,

I will be getting a few games this Friday (Thank you end year bonus) and im wondering what games i should get.

I would like some sort of MMORPG even though the only one on the 360 is FFXI and i never played it so i don't know how it goes. I hear its really difficult to get into and most players are Japanese players.

I also tried KUF but that game is just a hack and slash ... The Skills don't do anything good and all there is is loot. I Understand that Loot is a big part of a MMORPG but i would like to get a little more for my bucks. If we compare this game to Diablo 2 (Which o started a new char this weekend

) In diablo, you have to choose the correct skills to have a "god like" character which i don't see in KUF.

Theres Arkadian Warriors but again , im not sure if this will keep me hooked for more than a few hours.

If we put the MMO games aside, what other games should i get ? I already have COD4 , I hate halo so i won't even bother with halo 3. Im tempted by Burnout Paradise, maybe a game like Saints row or Crackdown.

Any advice ? Thanks (Oh and Jake and Joel , WHEN IS THE NEW PODCAST COMING ??!!!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 MONTHS NOW !!! lol) Seriously i found some other podcasts but they aint as entertaining to listen to compared to what you guys can do.

What's your budget? You can pick up both Saint's Row and Crackdown for the price of Burnout Paradise, since the latter is brand new.

MMO's don't appear to be on the horizon for the 360:

FFXI is good if your planning in divulging a year into a MMO. I hear its still pretty fun and just buy a USB keyboard and your good to go.

I am and no, it is not "all Japanese". There is a huge population of European and North American players. Unlike other MMO's, it is difficult because leveling a job to the maximum level allowed (75) could take you months depending on your job (in my case, over a year). The game includes standard Final Fantasy story telling, mediocre graphics, a mixed bag of douche bags and cool kats as well as being quite addictive. Being that it is the only real MMORPG on the 360 (PSU does not count), by default, I would recommend that.

my mate only ever plays FFXI he plays it for hours and hours a week. Not my cup of tea, but he loves it. His Girlfriend has even got into it and they play at the same time on the 360 and his PC.
