Well, after playing with George for a while I've worked out my favourite class:

M16A4 + ACOG, Bandolier, Stopping Power, Steady Aim

Works on pretty much any map, apart from Vacant.

Pretty good setup. Having steady aim with the ACOG is crucial because the ACOG is so ineffective at close range.

Hehe, I was sitting on the top of the building on Crash and didn't even have to Scope to kill people on the ground, outside. Steady aim is epic

I use a Silenced MP5 with UAV jammer and extreme conditioning and bandolier.

I just leg it around map at a crazy pace and shoot campers and am invisible, airstrikes never get me, and all the lads look at their radar when UAV scans are called in(which is a few times a map on average) and think there fine, so I get great kill streaks in buildings they're camping in.
I only started doing this other day, and on maps like crash,crossfire,ambush,bloc and strike I get a crazy amount of kills.

I was getting 32/4 and 26/3 scores which I like, I always get lots of kills but always die to much cause I run around alot, but think Ive found the perfect class.

It doesnt work on countdown or bog because I cant flank people but otherwise its class, and I just know it pisses snipers and acog campers off ^_^

Also scott ACOGs are good now, but why use it on M16? The red dot lets you see more of the map and its hard to miss with the red dot on the M16 from any distance.

i don't camp to much because i always die quick, well, quicker. you kind of know where people are gonna camp on each map after a bit, so like shane, i like to keep running, unless playing sabotage (my favorite game type by far). what i like is snipers that never move; so they may get a shot in on you, but since they don't move, you can go kill them good. it seems like games with objectives you don't get blasted from the side or back as much as team deathmatch, where the spawn areas constantly rotate around the map.

besides the new deathcams on the airplanes and the grenades (which are kind of cool), i didn't notice anything too different. i never use that AOGS scope and i don't snipe.

I don't "camp" but I do snipe if the situation permits it. If I'm playing Domination and my team is down by a fairly significant amount of points, I'll go straight in wielding a shotgun and assault rifle. But if we are up a good amount of points, I'll do some sniping.
As for the sniping, I change positions every 2-3 kills or so with the UAV jammer.

Because it has low recoil yet good range and power. There's no point in putting an ACOG on an M4 since it's a medium-range weapon. The M16 is long range, but it's burst-fire allows you to "strafe" an enemy and pretty much guarantee a kill. I tried it on an M14. It works fairly well but the Red-dot is better for it...just.

Well after playing all weekend and Friday night with the new patch, I have to say the sniping is definitely improved. I played around with the ACOG scope a bit and I wasn't able to detect a huge difference, but that probably because I didn't use it for much more than a couple of deaths, I never really liked the ACOG. I feel I'm much more accurate with the red dot.

The game does lag less and seems to be smoother and faster, especially on Friday where I'm sure there were more players on than usual because of everyone wanting to try out the patch, I didn't run into any lag or problems getting into any games.

The host migration is gay, the game still ends and kicks you out. I guess its fine if you got a team and don't want to get split up afterwards, but other than that, the point is moot if you still get booted from the game. I even had two occasions where it behaved just like before the patch where the host ended the game and I still got booted out of the lobby back to the game selection menu.

Quick mute is definitely a huge plus though, much easier to turn the mute on squeaky 7-year olds.

I don't really care about the kill-cams because I usually skip them unless I want to know where the sniper was that got a headshot of on me so I can go knife him after I respawn. I don't really care to see how I got owned lol.

In conclusion, it could have been better, but its a start. Hopefully Infinity Ward can make something happen where the game doesn't have to end at all if the host leaves the game and they can get host switching in-game.

The sniping was fixed but bloody #### why do you make them so powerful.
They couldve just fix sniping (they did) but making it almost impossible to escape a siper is annoying.

I'm starting to enjoy the MP5 more. Hooking that up with Stopping Power, Steady Aim and some C4 can cause all sorts of shenanigans! For instance, I snuck up behind someone, stuck some C4 to their back and as they ran around a corner I detonated it and got 4 kills
