Default Got my 360 back

So back in November I posted my adventures of a broken 360 and I can now tell you guys as of today I have received my 360 today and for all the trouble MS has given me....wait for it....wait for it...1 month xbox live service free. I guess thanks are in order but it would have been nice to get a free game

How could you expect a free game for your xbox breaking? You know how much people would abuse that? Plus you did get a free game. Go download Undertow!

they would not even reimburse me when the Battlefield 2: Modern Combat server started telling me i had to be ranked as a General to play in any multi player match...all they said was ''it's some unspecified server problem and we have no idea whats causing it, try again in 24 hours''... after 3 weeks of that crap I sold the game losing $30 and moved on to other games.... I've had 3 trips to the repair center totalling about 3 months of down time in 15 months of ownership and yes all i got was a free month of live each time I lost a month of time.

at least thier repairing our 360s, they could just say to hell with it and not do anything. Im just happy that they fixed my 360 for free.

My 360 broke on the 4th of December, I got it back around the 20th of December. So for me the turn around time was very quick and I was pretty happy about that. However, the damn thing broke again on the 18th of January so it is currently in TX. Yesterday when I checked my repair status on Xbox.com it told me it had been recieved on the 24th, today when I check it it tells me I have no registered devices. Anyone think that means they are sending me a different console back?

The repair center only operates Monday through Friday, I imagine that they get them by the truckload every day of the week so what it means is that Your 360 arrived and was scanned into their system, But it's sitting there waiting in line to be opened up and individually logged as being under repairs.

well, the last time it was in for repairs it never became unregistered. Someone had to have gone in and deleted it. It said Awaiting Service yesterday, let me clarify my above statement. The Fed-ex site told me it was delivered the xbox site said awaiting service. Today the xbox site says you have no registered devices. I just find it odd that it was removed, unless I am getting a different one. And if I am getting a different one I am hoping for one with an hdmi port, but would be just as happy with my old one assuming it was actually fixed this time.

When mine was in for its 3rd repair they kept it and send me a different one which had a manufacture date 6 months newer than the one they kept. the drive wasn't any quieter but the fans were quieter. godo luck on your repair status!

I checked xbox.com last night and I do infact have a new serial number listed for my devices now. That would also lead me to believe that my xbox should be on its way back yo me. I am also hoping for a new hdmi port and the end of all of these problems.
