I think the party chat was the best feature, and just about everything else wasn't necessary. The avatars look like Miis

I like the NXE, but the message transitions are unusably slow. I will miss the first 20 or 30 seconds of a halo match because I am sending a message while waiting for it to load. Even when I exit before the match begins.

Does anyone hae a new 360 with the large on-board storage? If so, does it help the lag?

Looks a lot better, installs are nice and avatars look kinda silly but make sence.

I just don't like how much slower it is to do things though.

It's definitely a major improvement from the last version.

I really like the new dashboard. Easier to navigate and it's cool to see when people will be playing things.

avatar is AMAZING!!!! 3d mini-u. sweeeet. better than miis
and install to hd is only good for 120gb, cause my old 20gb (the oldest ones) can barely fit one "good" games (~6.5gb).

The NXE is more reliable than the previous dashboard.
Much easier for me to navigate and use.

I agree on that part but Avatars are there because PS3 have home avatars, Nintendo had Miis and 360 have avatars.
The three systems are competing against each other.

I like most everything about the new dashboard. It can get a little confusing sometimes though. And, I don't really care for the party chat. You just can't tell who's talking. I guess it's good for when people are playing different games, but that's just annoying to me.

The NXE is pretty nice, i would probably enjy it more if i had Netflix, but sadly i don't. The avatars are a nice way to personalize your accounl and show your personality.
The only problems Ive had is more frequent freezing during games and while on the dashboard.

Party chat is defently a pretty nice addition. but i have noticed some problems like the random seperation of party members.
overall i would say its an improvement when you get used to it and get a nice premium theme!
