The Party System is the best feature to ever come out on the Xbox 360, I think the NXE was a great update.

The ability to install games is hands down the best feature.
Everything else is just icing on the cake.

My only complaint is that now all themes look lame on the new dashboard.

Yeah i love the party system. It was such a great idea. I don't really care about the avatar, and I don't load my games onto my harddrive(i need space) bt overall I think its alot more accesible.

I think that the party system is one of the best parts and installing games is good then avatars is just there since Sony has PSN Home Avatars and Nintendo has Miis.

The party system is amazing, especially for organising groups for 4v4 games like Left 4 Dead.

I just wish the guide would be a bit more responsive...

I like the party system to talk to people in other games. It's nice that you don't have to set up a private chat (or multiple private chats) to do it now.

It's the best way to ignore the idiots too.

I don't remember where I saw it, but I think there's an option for that. You can set whether it goes directly into the game or into the dashboard. Next time I turn my xbox on, I'll look for it.

My Xbox -> System Settings -> Console Settings -> Startup. There, you can choose "Disc" or "Xbox Dashboard" (or Media Center if you wanted).
