was gonna post this earlier today. Seems as if sony payed ibm to research the cell chip but didn't require they not use the research in the development of other products. So a part of the cell chip's research was used to create the 360 chip. Interesting, but the most interesting part to me, is t hat while these 3 companies battle for profit, IBM is cleaning up on every system sold.

and thats why IBM makes billion dollar deals by wiping its butt, and other companies put their hands out for tax dollars.
Thats really not that far off, Ive had a conversation with an IBM employee that does the contracts.. a billion dollar deal is like 1.3% yearly revenue for them.... gheesh!!
