Microsoft will rely on its Xbox 360 game console for longer than the previous version because it's getting harder to persuade consumers to upgrade, the head of the company's entertainment unit said in an interview with Mercury News.

Well my xbox broke the other day and I bought it 12/24/07. So if I was microsoft I would fix the problems with 360's breaking before they do anything. If you wanna get into "Have a Much Longer Life-Cycle".

Well, I think its great, cause you have a console for more years, also, i doesnt make people angry when are hardware failure, if it supposed to had a long life cycle

this is a responce to the recession. they were already starting to produce chips for the next xbox that was due in 2011. noone will GamingGamingGaming a new xbox if they have no cash. so, its GamingGamingGamingGamingGaminger to keep the current one going w/ a great library, and they are more likely to keep good sales that way, instead of ending up like Sony.

i always say, "screw the next gen i'm not GamingGamingGaminging until the price drops after the first year." And somehow i end up outside toys 'r us at 3 in the morning on release day fighting with grandmas. I can tell you i wouldn't drop my college money on a new system but if they brought the right gears i'd e all over it.

Good thing i'll be graduated before the new one comes out, or it sounds like it atleast.

at least this will give sony more time to finally get the ps3 to use the massive amount of power that it has, xbox is still the best console by far imo but the ps3 has tons of potential which so far has been wasted

i made this one day when city pissed me off, im gonna make a new one just haven't gotten around to it with school starting back.

Whats the deal man, i try to decide what hughes needs in transfer and they have it all. They should be a good team, not getting beat by those stinkers. Bridge will help on d but.
