Default Bioware Announces Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition for $70

BioWare has announced a Collector's Edition of its sci-fi RPG sequel Mass Effect 2, which adds an assortment of physical and virtual bonus items for the bearable extra cost of $10 over the regular version's price-tag of the Xbox 360 game.

Wow. To me that sounds like something any other company would sell for $80 instead of $70. I actually really like the look of the case too.

i don't usually go for collectors thing, just got the one for fallout 3. but i would for this game, cause i know it will rock!

the only crappy thing is, i bet the exclusive content becomes available on live for 2 bucks or something in the future.

As much as I love Mass Effect and can't wait for the sequel I am a bit disappointed in this collector's edition offering although I do really like the artwork on that steelbook. I guess I was just expecting more substantial content after Bioware put out that great Dragon Age collectors edition that included so much including the Stone Prisoner DLC.

did you get the dragon age game? does it play mass effect? i just saw it was bio ware the other day, and i was interested. but never winter nights was also bioware, didn't care for the one too much at all.

Haven't bought it yet, but I have heard it's a lot more like KOTOR than Mass Effect. Plus I heard the controls interface wasn't that great on consoles, just too much to map to controllers. I'll prolly still get it though since it's Bioware and I don't have a PC strong enough to run it.

so is it a port to console? i liked KOTOR. number 2 was ok. be interested in that KOTOR one. to bad its online only though.

if it don't sell good, that game should drop in price pretty fast. i'm gonna wait on getting it.
