Forza 2 demo (graphics)

The demo is fun! Although not as groundbreaking and amazing as many of you proclaimed. It seems like just another racing game to me. The scenery is boring, the graphics are mediocre, the damage is boring, and the race cars are not anything I haven't seen before.


I'll stick to Burnout Revenge.

I don't know bout u guys but I just turned my car from black to gray during a race and knocked off one of my side mirrors but they still have to do more than this to get my $60. The graphics looks like the same from forza 1 to me. hurry up Burnout and release.

With regards to the thread, sorry to hear that it is not what you expected. But honestly, how many games are what we expect these days? Seems that there is always something wrong with games these days. Just wait until the exclusive XBL content comes up for 800 MS points. That'll add more fuel to the fire.

lets just say i was waiting for something to spark my interest again. to bad the biggest topic is on a disappointing demo..papa is doin alright. just working his tail off a little too much if u ask me.

back on topic:
yes every game has its own disappointments. but this looks to be one of the biggest let downs (graphically) on the 360 so far... who knows. maybe be i'll still get to eat my own words once forza 2 launches...one can only hope

And if it was a 3rd party game then yea, I wouldn’t be banging on about it but its a 1st party game that should be a show piece, it should stand out and the casual gamer want your system. As I previously stated (I think?) visuals are your 1st contact with a game, if the 1st few seconds doesn’t make you dribble then you'll always have that niggling doubt

I’m with you there, but it has been confirmed as a final build, also, Turn10 have confirmed that there is no plans on patches either - currently working on DLC...which could spark off another moan (800 points anyone?)

yeah im partly dissapointed by the demo's graphics, but honestly the gameplay , physics , online will be immense, customization ,graphics aint the top of my list maybe it's just me..

The graphics to me are fine, nothing to complain about. It truly is the best racing game I've played thus far.

Look at the Halo 3 beta graphics, they aren't as amazing as everyone thought it would be, looks like a polished version of Halo 2 but in High-Def. When a game has a good reputation from previous versions, fans know that the game play they love and got accustomed to will be there again, if not even better. If the graphics take a big leap, that's just a bonus.

NBA Live 06 when it first came out looked stellar compared to NBA 2K6 for the 360, still the Live 06 game sucked horribly bad compared to the Near-Perfect 2K6 title. Screen shots of the new NBA Live 08 look amazing, but there's a chance of a another letdown when it comes to game play, etc. etc..
