Thoughts on the new Need for Speed???

I was playing Forza 2, pushing my audi to the limit only to have it crash into the wall doing 180 when i thought, "i wish they had a game with the customization of forza on street tracks". I was two steps behind. Need for Speed: ProStreet is going to be great (provided the game is as fun as the clips and screenshots look). What do you guys/girls think?

From what I hear of Pro-Street that car you crashed at 180 would be gone, see ya, later. As in if you blow it up you lose it. That will be interesting if that is the way they go like they currently say they are.

So I guess bashing your way through police roadblocks is out of the question? That was one of my favorite aspects of this series. I'm not sure if I like the direction EA is taking.

Im conflicted by this, I think I would like this game better then the bashing through baracades, but at the same time I still want my bash through baracades game also. I wish this was just a new game instead of it being the morphing of NFS. Then I could get a new NFS and Pro Street. Im sure they would both be fun.

From what I read there are no cops in prostreet. No cops = no buy for me.

from the pics it looks like you may be able to bash through barriers..but instead of just getting your car fixed to look brand new, it will have "battle scars" in which the door panels will be wrinkled up and paint will be scratched up.....although if they don't have any cops...that will be a big minus...running from cops is part of street racing!!

True, but somtimes I find it annoying when they come after you every 5 minuits. I'm not sure I like the idea of losing your car when it blows up, but I suppose it makes it more realistic!
