Forza2 Fuel Question

I've been into long endurance races lately and was wondering if fuel adds to the weight of the car? I have looked through telemetry to seek answers but no luck. Anyone know?

i would suspect that it does since i've noticed that i can do better laptimes when i have less fuel.I'd also like to know that if you turn off the fuel consuption what is the default amount of fuel in your tank say in free run ...a good question i've actually wondere that myself.

I too get better lap times later in the race but warmer tires definitely help, also what you suggested. I'm not sure about the default thing either. Anyone else know?

The first endurance race I did I pushed it to the max and ran out of fuel on the last lap on some Nascar **** and I was so pissed I havn't done one since, lol.

Fuel definetly contributes to the weight of the car. I usually get my best lap 1/3 to 1/2 way through a run, when the tires are still fresh, and I've burned off 20 to 30 lbs of fuel.
