C & C 3

Is anyone else looking forward to C&C 3? The screenshots look great and I hope there's substance to match. If you preorder from EB Games/Gamestop, you get a DVD/PC-ROM collection with the original C&C, interviews and a "making of". I don't really care about that stuff, but more importantly you can download free multiplayer maps after release. I'm not sure if this offer extends beyond the US.

Looks like a very cool game. Good graphics and visuals. Just hope it works well on a console. I don't think I have ever played a "God-Game" on a console.

Anyways I'll probably get C&C 3 for the PC when I get some money and ummm disk space. Time to get a new computer or buy an external HD.

so anyine try the demo yet?

i thought it was decent enough i didn't have such high expectations since rts's on consoles are usually crap. However C&C seemed easy enough to play after a few practice runs. I personally have never been a rts freak ...yeah i did play some C&C generals on my pc randomly, but this game may be worth a buy if i catch it midprice somewhere in the distant future

i loved the demo, although it takes a while to get used to it. i played it on live too and I won woohoo.

I have the same thoughts. I've played all the Command and Conquers up to date, and they have all been really good (except tiberian sun). The thing is, i've played all of them on PC which is a whole different animal. Using a mouse to point and click as well as keyboard, has been ingrained in my brain.

I haven't played an RTS on any console yet. And have been actually pessimistic towards the idea. But since it's a C&C game, and looks great... my pessimism might have to take a backseat. I hope it does prove me wrong.

i got into it pretty quickly.. just a quick rundown through the trainin mode, and it was a snap.
i played alot of BFME2 on the 360 as well, so i guess im just more used to it... since it is the same guys making both games.

im fairly impressed. it handled better than my computer did w/ the demo. The shadows are still funny looking for some reason, but the framerate never dropped, which is great. Im just gonna go get a gamefly account and rent it. With all these blockbusters droppin on us in the next few months, i dont have 500 bux to throw to all of em.. so rentin is the way to go! (cept those... must have forever games

I just played the demo and It's great, a little complicated at first , but then you get the hang of it. Well, then I got my ass whipped on Live. I'm just not sure if it's worth shelling out 60 bucks. what do you guys think?

I just got done winning the Badlands map in the C&C3 Demo. I was wondering if any of you guys had any issues with choppy gameplay, to the point of almost making you quit playing.

I was experiencing a crap load of choppy gameplay after about 15 min or so playing. It was unbearable! Even my camera scrolling was terribly hindered.

Anyone else?

i love the demo, the thing that annoys me most, is once ive taken out a guys con yard, and war factory, they always seem to quit. it drives me nuts, maybe its something to do with my tacticts. a quick win is almost guaranteed with my rush

I think the release date is May 8. Its been about a month since I checked last, so that could have changed.
