The Amber and Madness Ore weapons and armour are the best looking. Out of the two I would have to say Amber. I also like Elvish weapons and armour.

Most of the higher end weapon materials have a pretty cool looking Short Sword. Especially the Fine Steel, Elven, and Ebony.

I got sick of always recharging or repairing weapons..... i just got to the point where I would use a weapon until it broke, toss it, pick up a new one off a body and use it until it broke, etc etc etc. I wo uld mabye keep a magic sword in my backpack as backup against normal resistant monsters.
