if you could only buy one racer

it seems like once you play one racer you've played them all. since games are pretty expensive now, if you could only chose one racing game to buy what would it be and why?

Tooo easy. Forza 2. Xbox's most realistic racing game, hours of playtime, infinite ways to customize your car both visually and performance wise + more. I'm a racing buff so I have them all but Forza 2 takes the cake for Xbox.

It's hard to say because there are so many decent racers out there, and each one appeals to differing tastes. I'd probably give the edge to FM2, but Dirt, NASCAR and maybe even NFS Most Wanted deserve honorable mention.

I prefer arcade racers personally. My most anticipated racer is Burnout Paradise.
Flatout looks good too, but i think i'll just wait for a sequel.

I'd have to say Need for Speed carbon. As sad as that sounds it's actually a great game online if you have friends to play with! I hope Prostreet turns out amazing!

ugh your a sick bastard, that game is tripe. worst game i ever bought, i didnt get an acheivment on it, couldnt even play it for more then an hour it was so crap.

I would take Most Wanted over carbon any day of the week. I agree that I would take Forza 2 but I got bored of that game as soon as i finished all the races. So I traded it in!

Its only worth buying if it is any good, and It hast had any reviews yet. I didnt like PGR3 so if the new one is similar I wont be getting it.

My favorite racer in Forza 2. I think you would enjoy it as I to was skeptical about it before getting it. But I love the game.
