Posts: 1   |  Unrecognized disk I keep getting an unrecognized disk error when I try to play a game. Does anyone know how to fix this without having to send it in? I have a first gen console and I have already got the red ring of death (but it was still under warranty at that time). I think it may be related to the patch that I had to download to play Halo 2 b/c it has been acting strange ever since then and that was a few days ago. Don't do it!!! Any help is appreciated.
