Posts: 2,674 | i had an issue with this too. xbox was wired to the router and everything. it was my firewall. as soon as i turned it off, there was no issue. (so maybe try turning yours off and see if it works, at least you'll eliminate a variable) but i rather have a firewall up then be able to stream stuff to the 360. i had media player 11, and i tried that zune thing too.
maybe the link karma posted will have what ports you need to keep open so your firewall will allow the stream.
now i have a new computer with that media center on it, and it detected my 360 without me doing anything. |
