Forza2!! track disappears

Hi, A quick question about Forza on the Mugello track on my game i can get half way around then all of a sudden the track disappears and my car is flying usually into a wall after a minute or so and if i do manage to stay on the game freezes and i have to turn box off and back on again only seems to be on mugello although i havent done all the tracks recently, do you think its a scratched disk or something on the hard drive??

Also if i drive up to the missing track slowly, the track will gradually come back after a few seconds and i can carry on my merry way obviously no good for racing though

I haven't played this game seriously in a long, long time, but I remember display issues like this occuring occasionally.

That's weird... never happend to me... and I finished the game with even long duration races there.

If it happens to you ALWAYS on the same track, must be a scratch or defect in the game disc... on my copy of Need for Speed Carbon there's an alleyway that always dissapears and the game jumps... nothing major a couple of seconds.

Is there a warrantee for such issues?

Well i got it sorted just took the disc back to the shop and they whizzed it through their cleaning machine and hey presto took it back home and she was all better.
