Codemasters gets F1 Liscense

Hey, at least we will get it on the 360 this time but I hope they dig deep and find a way to respect the liscense and make a proper sim out of it! :-)

No retraction, codemasters already set up the forum community for it this morning.

And yes, they better not make this like Dirt and Grid. Someone asked if the engine could make a sim and they said YES, they could do a sim with the game engine already chosen. I tend to doubt it though.

Not a big racer faN, BUT i know codemasters did micro machine for the ps2, and it ruled. so therefore, this game will rule. Impeccable logic.

I'm playing Overlord right now, and it is pretty dang fun. Developed by codemasters. Are they just a hit or miss company? Or mostly miss?

They are normally Hit, hit and more hit...but they decided to go after the mainstream market with their recent racing games (DIRT and GRID) and pissed off most of their following in the process.

Yeah because I don't understand basic economics...

Of course I know they will get more sales but I can still moan about it. It's like your favourite rock artist changing to pop, just because it would get them more sales. SELL OUTS!

Oh and the older games are not more boring...it's the fact 95% of the console 'tards can't handle them. Idiots.

How about we at least wait for a demo before passing judgement? Is it going to be simplified for consoles? Probably. Does that mean it would be any less entertaining to play? Not necessarily.

You forget that if a racing game isnt 110% realistic and over the top boring that scott and josh don't find it fun.

Dirt was a good game.
