Anyone else disappointed with NFS?

I got NFS last night because I love racing games. First of all the graphics are really good but not a dramatic jump from previous NFS games. The concept of the game, driving around while cops chase you is nice but they have already done it. The game just seems to get boring after awhile and the acting in the game is so ridiculous it makes me laugh sometimes. I was really disappointed in the game, it really let me down. Just my opinion.

Thats funny, I really like the game. Aside from the acting (yeah your right) I thought it was a good switch. I think the graphics are a huge leap in terms of just attention to detail. No other NFS did this type of work. And for the cop chases, I really like it. Its not exactly Underground, but you can still pimp your ride out, and its not exactly Hot Pursuit but you still have some crazy chases. I am impressed with this game.

Yeah its because its a port from the xbox. I'm not going to get any game thats also for the PS2, Gamecube etc. Only if its devloped for the 360 are the games I'm going to get.

Its a good game. I does get quite boring and repetative after like the 9th person on the blacklist.

quite the opposite its actually one of my fav games I've played in awhile. Dont think of it as a port as far as graphics but gameplay yeah I'm sure its the same. But I had the xbox demo and it doesn't look anything like the 360 version on my plasma.
Also I'm probably biased since I loved Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. I never cared for the underground series minus the car visuals so this one got me back into the Need for Speed round. But running from the cops is too fun and racing online is a blast. Plus I just wanted to get my BMW M3 GTR back and was hoping I'd run over that moron Razor with it. So to each their own. I like it a lot better than PGR3 right now. PGR3 is just kinda boring for the moment. Makes me wonder why it was getting so much attention since after you get over the pretty looks there just isn't much more there than driving around cones and getting kudos :\

I absolutely love this game. I have been a fan of NFS since WAY back in the day, and I just can't say enough about how awesome MW is. They even have some portions of the track that remind me of some old tracks, like Atlantica in NFS 2 (I believe). Cop chases are freakin awesome, the sense of speed is great (although not Burnout great), the visuals are pretty darn good, I like the physics, car customization is second only to Midnight Club DUB edition (MCDUB was perfection), and I flat out have a blast when I play it.....as a fan of the NFS series, I couldnt have asked for much more.....except get rid of those cut scenes and acting......good lord, it's horrible. Even the hot chicks dont' make up for it......ick!

Im with you, you never get as good a game as you should when they do this.
