sorry rabb, but i work in the cell industry. unless you NEED the customization abilitys and MS Office abilities of a windows mobile phone, you DONT want one. They are as buggy and unreliable as their computer counterparts. Do you love vista? do you really want it running your phone!?! because, thats what windows mobile 6 is.. vista.

And the Iphone3g is a piece of crap that no software update can seem to fix. If you want an iphone, get the older first gen one. it may not be fast on the net, but it works.

if you want the real "iphone killer", you need to look no further than Verizons upcomming exclusive Blackberry Storm (it will be called the thunder in canada if the rumors are true) All the greatness of a blackberry, full touchscreen thats supposedly the best out there (ill pass judgement when i see it), its dual cdma/gsm, and hybridized to be able to do what regular phones do, 3.2 mpx camera, 3d VZnavigator which is exellent, and a million other silly things.

Someone does need to redesign it. I have an iPod touch, and I'll tell you, it's fantastic: I would buy an iPhone if I thought it would be worth it. In my opinion, I only need a Tracfone pay-as-you-go.

just to throw in i got the blackjack 2 and love it. the only thing about the iphone i really wish my blackjack had was a good browser. the iphone is amazing how it resizes the webpages. its annoying browsing on my blackjack cause half the pages are so screwed up it either takes hours to scroll or you can't even figure out where things are. but other than that i'm really pleased with it.

android OS could be aweseome or horrid. I want to play with it when it comes out. Its all open development so it depends on the people making apps for it. The downer... Google is going to make millions off of it (even though its free) because its ADD SUPPORTED. you will get adds on you phone... ugh.

That thing ain't killin' Sheet. People need to do alot more than copy them if they want to win. At least it has enough functions and competes just enough to keep apple from being complacent

Two words. Integrated Keyboard. Infinitely my favourite part of the iPhone and iPod touch. As for hating on Apple, iPods are, in my opinion, the best out there right now. Computers... not so much. I'm afraid that Microsoft is still in charge here for gamers. Apple does have good technology, though. I guess they're alright for casual computer users.

if you knew anything about phones or the iphone, you would never have made that statement. The iphone, while nice, is nothing new, nothing revolutionary... hell, its not even EVOLUTIONARY. its just a hybrid dumbphone (not a true PDA) with functions of both a pda and a regular phone, but missing key components of both.

cant use it for real business as it doesnt sync right with many devices, and its about as secure as an unlocked chest of gold in the heart of Harlem... so business cant really use it

its missing major regular phone features like picture messaging, video and a dozen other things.

If it said anything else but "Apple" on the phone, it wouldnt be such a big seller. its all you weirdo apple fanatics that drive the sales, thinking somehow because Steve Jobs shyt it out, that it must be great, but thats not the case.

Dont even get me started on the iphone 3g, which is the biggest piece o crap of the year. talk about a "brick in the box".

MS's fanboys have been browbeaten by snotty apple fanboys for years. They are just now finding out, that its easy to make a quality product with lowered production. Once you become popular and you ramp up that production to mainstream levels, the product quality is much harder to control. Ol steve'o jobs is finding this out the hard way.
Iphones are falling appart at the seams, the 6th gen ipods were cak, and in general they are having many quality issues with their most popular products.

worst part is, you cant take your iphone back to AT&T for replacement, you have to make an APPOINTMENT at an apple store and hope to get in within a few days.
