Posts: 34 | I would like to add that the assumption that multiplayer means "re-playability" is extremely false.
Quality = re-playability
Someone who does not have xbox live would say halo 3 sucks, the campaign is nothing special.
I understand X-box live is a fantastic service and a few games that would normally be rentals can be worth so much more cause of it.
That does not mean its a standard of video gaming. Give Bioshock credit for putting their focus in the right areas.... the areas its competition (halo,COD) wasn't.
and they succeeded with that formula cause the game is amazing. Its an experience that rivals the joys of any online experience.
And they put enough effort and creativity into the game to make it worth playing more than once, or at least make it seem to be worth spending 60$s
It seems like a bad video game strategy to put multiplayer into something just cause people think you should. |
