well, i went and rented it today, getting ready to try now. i have it until monday. wonder if i can finish it in 2 days...

well, played it a couple hours last night, and i am damn glad i didn't slap 60 bucks down for it.

the controls are just as crappy as before, so there wasn't any tweaking on it. The story could be interesting, i can eve let the sub par graphics go, but if your controls really suck, then, you know, what the hell.
Gonna put some more hours into it tonight, gotta get my 4 bucks worth out of the rent, and see if i can get some more achievements unlocked. but i wouldn't go buy this game.

well, it isn't really a ww2 game per se, it's a what-would-have-happened game. i think the premise is good, and it had potential.
But the broken up story line and horrible, horrible controls doomed it. and for having the unreal engine, it sure looks like poo. and there are clipping issues throughout; you know the kind, if you don't lean far out enough to shoot around a tree or car, it 'hits' the car even though you have a clear line of site.

other then that, the achievements have been pretty easy to get. might have to rent it one more time to finish the game up.

I can't believe this game is running UE3. I'm sure Epic likes this game using it's software.
