| Turning Point: Fall of Liberty I just played the demo on this game and I have got to say I am very intrigued. Right from the beginning the action and character charmed me into wanting to see this thing out to the very end. The gameplay is also terrifically simple and easy to adapt to. I don't know what the on-line is going to be like though.
So do you agree or disagree with my views on this game?

| i was pretty excited about this game, but the demo kind of made me reconsider. it was big and grand being up in the building, and watching the zepplins and luftwaffe come in, but the controls and the graphics weren't up to par.
the controls didn't feel 'tight'. i don't know who else to explain it. just felt like you had to over move everything to do anything (and those bad guys can take some bullets, kinda like the dudes from black did). but that could just be a controller setting issue or the fact it's a demo and the game isn't fully done. i don't know. you can shoot the dudes as they parachute by, though.
the graphics though, i thought, looked kinda like a first gen 360 game. the airplanes just kind of appeared out of the sky. i would have thought by now they could fade into the picture a lot further off in the distance.
but the part that looked the worst was at the end of th demo when you jump into the truck with the other guys as they are going off to set up a counter attack. the people running down the road all looked the same, and didn't look very good. maybe i am just setting my standards to high graphically.
i'll probably end up getting this game, i couldn't turn down a WW2 game, or semi-ww2 game (except for that hero of the hour, or whatever game that was).
i just hope when it ships they tighten up the graphics a bit. and hopefully the controller issues can be fixed with user tweaks.

| I'm with Blasterpez; the controls didn't feel right.

| | ? | Terrible Controls takes bout an hour to walk straight or line up a shot.
Terrible graphics this is one ugly game, COD1 looks better. And the stupid making your way down the skyscraper is so 1999 and needless and ultra ***.
With this game, the club, turok and conflict ops the first big games of 2008, I think I'm going sell my 360.

| Wow good call shane. You guys all make some good points. Now that I think about it the gun fire was kinda terrible. I gotta play the demo again and see if I really like it, maybe I was too drunk when I played it the first time.

| I just played the demo yesterday and it was a huge dissappointment because I was expecting a lot out of Turning Point. First off, it looked like a PS2 game from 2004. The bad guys looked ridiculous and took like 6 MP5 shots to the head before they even twitched and were just overall dumb as rocks. Secondly, they need more sensitivity options to choose from. On medium sensitivity you scrolled across the screen at the speed of smell and on high it was too touchy. I need something between those two. Other than that, I kind of liked having to go down from the rooftop while all those aircraft were around, was a neat feeling, but sadly it all went downhill from there.

| ok I hear what you guys are saying, but remember its a demo. The Turok demo was pretty *** and when I bought and played the full game, I loved it. I think the full game will be awesome. I could tell there were a few things wrong in the demo besides graphics. When I was shooting at an enemy, it would take forever for a bullet to hit him even though I'm aiming right at him... All in all after playing the demo, I can't wait to buy this game. |
